This legendary jersey features the official Mexican National Shield (the eagle on a cactus) printed across the torso—a move that the Mexican Congress ruled a violation of the Law on the National Shield, Flag, and Anthem. While the "prohibited" version was recalled, this official modified edition remains a symbol of the tournament where El Tri famously defeated Brazil to lift the trophy at the Azteca.
